 The Instituto Dominicano de Desarrollo Integral is the leading non-profit urban development organization in the Dominican Republic. They implement programs to help the poor.
 With nearly 200 years combined of making cigars, the Fuente and Newman families are two of the oldest cigar families in the world. Through their annual cigar auction, these generous friends donated nearly $1,000,000. Using these funds, the Dominican Foundation has provided grants to enhance health care, water, sanitation and education programs for families in the Dominican Republic as well as fund the Cigar Family Community Complex in Caribe.
 The Dominican - American Chamber of Commerce is a bi-national business organization concentrating on fostering mutually beneficial trade, investment relationships and an interchange of ideas between the Dominican Republic and the United States.
